Cold Sweat Symptom
You always read stories of people witnessing some kind of a terror, and breaking out in a cold sweat. What exactly is a cold sweat? A cold sweat is sweating while you have the chills, or sweating when the air temperature is cold. A majority of the population that ends up with cold sweats are, unfortunately, women. This is not to say that it is always women, but just that - most often - the reason behind such cold sweats is, of course, menopause. Because menopause is when a woman’s menses (period) ceases at a certain age, the cold sweats come and go as the woman’s estrogen level rises and falls.
