The twelve step programs are going to be the best option; however, the problem with this is that the twelve step programs will not perform an intervention. They believe in the practice of not trying impose themselves on an unwilling or unsuspecting party. The next best option is a professional drug intervention service.
The most important thing to look for in your search for an interventionist is their level of sincerity. This is something that you and only you will be able to determine. If the only thing the drug intervention person is talking about is the financial aspect of the process then it is probably best to move on to the next company. Use your intuition. You will be able to feel if the person is genuine and really wants to help or if they are just in this for the money.
My last tip is to not settle. You should interview numerous different companies. As a result of your search, you should feel that you are selecting the absolute best drug intervention team for the job. This does not mean search for the lowest cost! You must remember that you are dealing with the life of a loved one and it may take a little bit of money to get them the help they need.
